Once Upon a Time … in Colmar
Wandering around in Colmar one summer among well preserved half-timbered houses, I was inspired to stop and write a sentence or two instead of photographing. Is amazing when this is happening.

Memories – “AIDA” in Verona
Even though Verona is known for tragical Romeo & Juliet of Shakespeare, what I remember from that holiday are pumpkin ravioli, pecorino cheese, tiramisu, lake Garda, stunning architecture and opera. Yes, Italian opera! Is so easy to keep finding reasons to return to Italy, right?!

Berlin 2020 ~ Calendar (updated)
Berlin is a city full of life, culture and history, with concerts, international film festivals, parties, fashion, popular sporting events and many other opportunities. Looking forward to a few moments this year that I broke down by season and category. I am sure that this is just a glimpse, but is a good idea to have a plan.

My Year 2019
As we are wrapping the year 2019 and a decade, I was reflecting these days at what I have achieved & what I have learned. In 2019, this online travel journal was opened. And I had a new start in Berlin.

Before Christmas in Vienna
In a December morning before Christmas in 2017 I was drinking my coffee at Café Demel, where it smells phenomenal (Kohlmarkt 14, 1010 Wien). The Christmas atmosphere compliments the charm of the city. It was unexpectedly lovely, but I’ll take it.
Story of Constanța & the Black Sea
Hometown and first love. Behind the murmur or nostalgia of the sea, and the salty air that reminds me of my childhood, there is a strong connection to my roots.
A world without walls
East Berlin. West Berlin. Berlin. This week of 4-10 November 2019 is a very special one in the German capital because it celebrated the 30th anniversary of the fall of Berlin Wall with storytelling events and art. This autumn, I am still processing this week and the 6 months since I live here.

Dear Bucharest. Part 1
I belong to several cities thanks to my destiny of choice of a wanderer. Maybe a native skill is that I feel at home in many places. But I never experienced the feeling living in Bucureşti – belonging, that I could easily fit in, but still be free and on a journey.

Perfect Paris
L’art se porte bien. During autumn, I revisited some of my favorite places in Paris and discover new passages and la Galerie Vivienne in the 2nd arrondissement, an elegant glass-roofed gallery. Bien sûr, no city is perfect, but for me those days have been parfait. Voilà!

Erasmus revisited. Copenhagen
Applying and receiving an Erasmus scholarship in Denmark at 19 years old I actually received wings. 10 years feels like a lifetime and is beautiful to look back where it all started. Those months have been some of my favorite.

Hamburg. A Day in the Life
There are so many ways to get to know a city or to have a good first overview. This time I took a long walk and then a boat. While I imagined how locals spend their Saturday and live their life in Hamburg.

Wonderful Istria
In just a few intense days, last August we hiked through a protected national park, swam among salty rocks and dived inside a cave, we had liquor and truffles tasting experiences. We ate and had Istrian wine again and again.

Paris, city of contrasts
Many books or travel guides were already written about Paris and many movies were filmed here, from ‘Before Sunset’ to ‘Amélie’. Is hard to add some new or original content, so I will just write my raw thoughts of the city about the best 7 decisions from 7 trips I took while in Paris and the ultimate cliché, since I can’t resist those.
