Saturday and Sunday, 18th and 19th August, Berliners and guests run / walk the 160km or 100 miles path along the former Berlin Wall to honor the victims of the Cold War.
Le Tapis de Fleurs de Bruxelles or Brussels Flower Carpet, build in Grand Place, takes place every 2 years in August. This was one of my favorite events ever and a precious memory. What an extraordinary feeling to be in that UNESCO heritage site – a beautiful square filled with flowers, and to notice a smell of begonias mixed with waffles and chocolate.
