Starting a districts round, as Berlin is divided in 12 administrative districts, each of those with many neighborhoods. Tiergarten is a huge urban park that is part of neighborhood Mitte (Middle). Used to belong to West Berlin before the Reunification. The former royal park is now open to the public and is a great connection from the West part to the center.

The Berlin Concert House (Konzerthaus) is located in Mitte, at the historic beautiful square Gendarmenmarkt and is flanked in perfect symmetry by the French Cathedral (Französischer Dom) and the German Cathedral (Deutscher Dom).

This April is my first month in Berlin, last week was the Holly week and it was indeed a special one. A beginning filled with hope. Now in Berlin, Spring is in full bloom – lilac flowers, magnolias cherry blossoms, glycine and wisteria are everywhere. Lavender color and amazing smell.
