Saturday and Sunday, 18th and 19th August, Berliners and guests run / walk the 160km or 100 miles path along the former Berlin Wall to honor the victims of the Cold War.

The race is happening every year since 2011.

This year is special because November 9th will mark the 30th anniversary of freedom for former East Berlin. And later in the year, for many countries, including my own.

World without walls

I ran in many cities, from Constanța to Brussels, and I was never so grateful and emotional as I was running near the former Wall.

Is no coincidence that I moved here in this year, the same I turned 30.
